Studied knitting patterns and visited with old and new friends today. It's been hot, mid 20s, but the leaves on the birch trees are rapidly turning yellow, the fireweed has gone to seed and we are losing 10 minutes of daylight a day. In the evening, as soon as the thermometer drops to 16, we are out training. Running dogs is the best part of the day.
